Colorado Alpine Quest, AKA, “Peak-to-Creek!” 🏔️🛶
Embark on a tent-camping adventure through the heart of the Rockies with Colorado Alpine Quest! From the moment you land at Denver International Airport, counselors meet you with a high-five and a gear check before heading straight into the wilds of Rocky Mountain National Park. Camp beneath towering pines, climb classic granite formations, and explore alpine lakes and scenic trails along the Front Range.
The journey blends skill-building and adventure: warm up on Lumpy Ridge and Twin Sisters with rock climbing and belay practice, explore RMNP’s iconic sights like the Alluvial Fan and Fall River Road, and learn alpine travel techniques on Trail Ridge Road. A backpacking mini-expedition takes you to Goblin’s Forest along the Longs Peak Trail, where campcraft and starry skies set the stage for unforgettable nights. Hike to shimmering Chasm Lake beneath Longs Peak’s East Face, then trade boots for river shoes with tubing and whitewater fun on the St. Vrain and Poudre Rivers.
By the end of your “peak-to-creek” adventure, you’ll return home with real mountain skills, leadership confidence, and a deep appreciation for the high country and river life. Expect big views, crisp alpine air, and the kind of inside jokes only your trail crew will understand. This is Colorado in full glow.
