In Part 2, we focus on the nature of you, the parent to recognize your own issues of power and control. Do you want to be the boss or do you want to reach the goal? It’s a question we should ask ourselves all the time. It’s important to be able to identify what you can and cannot control. We can control money, items in the house, transportation, phone use, etc. But we cannot control freedom, personal choices, their level of commitment or investment in what we want them to be committed and invested in, etc.
