Our NC Canoe Adventure takes place in beautiful Western North Carolina.This courses highlight is a 4-day, 3-night canoe expedition on Fontana Lake in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Campers will learn the value of teamwork as they paddle from campsite to campsite and will get to reflect on their day each night as they camp on beautiful lake islands under the stars.

“SOAR is truly wonderful and their staff, truly amazing! My son has never been on a trip like this before, especially so far from home. He flew from Atlanta to The Keys for a 10-day course and had an experience of a lifetime! It’s been two years and he still mentions a story from that trip. Being that he struggles with anxiety and ADHD, I have to be very careful when planning summer camp.
