Nicole was born and raised in Savannah, GA where she often went camping in surrounding areas with her family. This is where Nicole’s love of nature began. In 2017, she graduated from Georgia Southern University with her B.S. in Human Development and Family Science. Shortly after graduation, she started her career with SOAR as the field instructor for llama trekking at the NC summer program. Nicole then wanted to broaden her understanding of humanity and jet off to teach English as a second language to children in both Thailand and Vietnam. She then lived in Malaysia for a short time and studied yoga philosophy in Rishikesh, India. Upon returning to the USA, she got her certification as a Registered Behavior Therapist working with young children on the Autism Spectrum. While this line of work was rewarding, Nicole missed the unique work environment that SOAR had to offer. She returned in 2021 to work the Florida Keys Adventure summer program and proceeded to become a campus instructor at the Academy at SOAR in the spring of 2022. Nicole continues to enjoy spending her summers in the beautiful Florida Keys with SOAR’s summer program and is greatly looking forward to experiencing even more of this wonderful world with her students this year!
