The Academy at SOAR field instructors will be with students while they are on expedition phase. They will travel with the students and do activities like backpacking, rock climbing, canoeing, and much more while helping as they continue their studies in the field. Campus Instructors are with the students while they are on base. They will be teaching electives throughout the semester and helping coordinate local community service opportunities for the students.
GAP Year instructors help our gappers as they develop independence in a small group environment, explore the western United States, and help teach participants how to develop life skills through expedition planning, independent living, and community involvement. We are thrilled to have such a wonderful group of people working with our students and gappers.
