Excitement about the Academy year at SOAR
Hey everybody! As summer comes to a close and all our campers head back home, we want to remind you all that the fun doesn’t have to end! The Academy at SOAR has a few spots left, and we are still accepting registration for the fall semester here in beautiful North Carolina. We are so excited about this coming year!
The Academy at SOAR is a fully accredited boarding school for kids with AD/HD and Learning Difficulties. We offer a full range of education from mathematics to history, and from science to english. And the best part is that it’s an outdoors based program with expeditions to incredible locations like the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park, Florida, Costa Rica and more!
With an incredible 1:4 staff ratio, who are really great with the kids, we offer an individuated education for each student. This means that each person enrolled in the Academy will have access to education that’s tailored to them and their high school course requirements. Yes that’s right, we allow students to graduate from high school here! What better place than a life-skills oriented, confidence building program that provides great education and adventures?!
Through two summers in our Spanish immersion course to Peru, kids can knock out those pesky foreign language credits, learn real Spanish and have an amazing time! The course includes trips to the Galapagos Islands, Machu Picchu incredible beaches, foreign food markets, mountains, deserts and jungles; the culture is rich and the people there are incredibly kind and peaceful!
As you can see, a school year at SOAR is something to get excited about! Help managing AD/HD and LD, building confidence, learning organization, incredible outdoor adventures, and individuated learning makes SOAR a great choice. You can find out more by contacting Lynne Neaves at 828-456-3435 or by visiting our Academy page. And new this year, we now have financial aid options available! Whatever you choose to do, have a great year!
