All of SOAR’s Eagle View Ranch adventures are 17 days in length and offer all of the excitement that the Wild West provides! The differentiating aspect of WY Discovery is the focus on experiential education of the great state of Wyoming. Campers complete a junior ranger program learning about the hydrothermal features of Yellowstone National Park, learn about wildlife conservation at the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center, dig for dinosaur bones and soak in hot springs in Thermopolis, and hunt for petroglyphs. In this adventure campers also get to experience aspects of our other WY camps like horseback riding through Shoshone National Forest, canoeing, and rock climbing and rappelling. Other Wild West adventures on this course include a day of whitewater rafting on the Snake River, rifelry among the Dubois badlands, and visit to the Dubois Rodeo! The integration of education into the fun activities that are offered is a great choice for curious campers who enjoy learning about the world around them!
