GAP Year Group Thanksgiving

The GAP Thanksgiving was a great success and the feast prepared by the participants was amazing.  There is actually an entire counter full of additional side dishes and desserts behind the group!

Thank-you to all the families for your continued support, and we are excited to see what the Spring has to offer for the Gapper’s and their continued growth…

SOAR needs your help! Come run an amazing 5K to raise awareness for ADHD. Not ready for a 5K? We need volunteers to help make sure the event is a success as well!

October is ADHD awareness month! Therefore, on October 25th, we are bringing back an old tradition! SOAR’s Eagle Run will return to become an annual event. This weekend, which will also include a fundraising “gala” on Saturday evening, is designed to create strong community involvement and a greater understanding of ADHD. This is an exciting opportunity for you to become involved in helping promote ADHD awareness, adventure programs, and experiential learning.

The day will start with the Eagle 5K run/Walk at 8:00am followed by our Eaglet fun run shortly after. We expect a great turnout as Western North Carolina is consistently an involved community. All proceeds from this event will go to our scholarship fund, allowing more youth and young adults living with ADHD to have the opportunity to learn and grow from a SOAR adventure!
